DIRECTED BY GIL JUNGER, 10 Things I Hate About You is a wonderful film created based off of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. I love this film with all of my heart and soul, and it has sort of reframed the way I perceive a mean feminist character such as Kat. I've learned that she never cared what people thought of her not because she was full of herself, but because she chose to only let her own opinions define who she is. She is definitely an idol, because I don't completely know who I am without other people's inputs. I do realise it's kind of sad to put it in that way but I aspire to be the type of person who doesn't get affected AT ALL by what other people think about me.
